Notes from last night's announcements

Hi Everyone,

The officers make important announcements at the end of the night, and I took some notes in case your cadet did not share:

  1. PAPERWORK! There are several cadets who still need to fill out paperwork. In some cases, it's a code of conduct that also needs to be signed by guardians. In others, it's health paperwork. Lt. Strom called out all the names at the end of the evening, so if your cadet heard their name, they are missing some official document. Without it, some cadets may not be able to attend the FTX. ALL cadets must bring in missing paperwork by November 30. They will asked to leave until they do fill out the paperwork. It sounds harsh, but it's required.

  2. Maker sure your cadet is READY for the FTX with layers, WATERPROOF JACKETS, and hats. The boots that they were to wear with the FTUs are waterproof. They are encouraged to wear those, and should wear the FTUs to the FTX.

  3. Nov. 2 is Poppy Day. The officers will need about 16 cadet volunteers, and we will need screened guardians to supervise the cadets when they are handing out poppies. This is a VERY important event, so please get in touch if you are screened.

  4. Drill will begin on November 17.
