The Remembrance Day Parade is mandatory for all cadets. If your cadet cannot be at either Sidney or Brentwood Bay, they MUST contact Captain Mayer either through Cadet365 or through his email: Jean-guy.Mayer@cadets.gc.ca

Sidney Remembrance Day ceremony.

Dress is C1 and FTU with wedge (for 1st year's only) and poppy placed correctly on uniform. Have parka/gloves/toque handy/available in case the weather is not great. 

On Nov 11 at Mary Winspear (MW):

1000hrs - muster at the MW parking lot 

1015hrs - Fall in (attendance will be taken at this time)

1029hrs - Parade will march off (we will march down Beacon Ave, left on 3rd, left on Sidney Ave and end at Sidney Town Hall. We should be positioned almost centred on the cenotaph). 

1125hrs - Parade will do a march past.

1140hrs - Parade should be halted on 4th st near the ANAVETs bldg (plane mounted on pedestal).

Cadets are welcome to leave with parents/guardians at this time (let an Officer know you are leaving) or they will walk back to Mary Winspear with us for parent/guardian pick up.

1000 hrs - Muster at the Central Saanich Library parking lot in Brentwood Bay

1015 hrs - Fall in (attendance will be taken at this time)

1030 hrs - March on to area behind cenotaph position

1045 hrs - Fly Over and beginning of Ceremony

1130 hrs - Ceremony concludes
